The shackle is protected with raised shoulders that make it virtually impossible to break the padlock with cutting or prying tools. These heavy duty padlocks are used for example in gates, warehouses and trucks. The shackle height is 25 mm and diameter is 10 mm. The padlock body and the shackle are made of case-hardened steel. The surface finish of the body and the shackle is bright chrome.
Product is tested and certified according most demanding standards (25 mm shackle) EN 12320 (grade 4) and SFS 5970, SFS 7020 (FA grade 2).
This product has ABLOY PROTEC² lock system. ABLOY PROTEC² is a factory level locking solution. Every key is carefully controlled and is only made at Abloy Oy's factory. The keys have a patented sliding element that increases key security.

Purchased Abloy PL 342T (Protec2). Arrived in perfect condition a couple of days ahead of time. Beautiful lock, works outstanding, solid with smooth operation. Comes with two Protec2 keys and a card with certified numbers for key duplication. Interestingly, the card seems to come with a credit card style shifting colorized Protec2 IntesA square hologram image on it. Possibly to deter counterfeiters and demonstrate authenticity during the key duplication process at an Assa Abloy certified service center.
